Charles A. Daughtry

 

Charles A. DaughtryCharles Daughtry graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston with a B.B.A. in 1979. He graduated from the University of Houston College of Law in 1982. He is admitted to practice before all Federal District Courts, the Southern District of Texas, the U.S. Court of Appeals (Fifth Circuit) and the U.S. Supreme Court. Of his many accomplishments,  he was named a “Texas Super Lawyer” by Thomson Reuters in 2005-2009, 2011-2012 and 2014-2015. He is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in both Civil Trial Law and Labor & Employment Law. He has tried numerous jury cases to successful verdicts. In addition to the practice of law, Mr. Daughtry is an avid runner, having completed eight marathons, as well as a musician and photographer. He has been married to his wife Shari for 29 years, and they have two children, Shannon and C.J.

Charles M. Jordan

 

Charles M. JordanCharles Jordan is admitted to practice law in the Texas State Courts, Federal District Courts of Texas, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.  He has been Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1988.  While serving his clients, he has also found time to serve his colleagues.  Charles has served as President of the Galveston County Young Lawyers and its senior Bar Association.  As a director, he has served both the State’s Young Lawyers Association and its Bar Association.  Charles spends his time away from work as an active member of his church, spending time with his family, following the Astros, and bass fishing.

Trisha Taylor Farine

 

Trisha TaylorTrisha Taylor Farine was born in Galveston, Texas and she and her husband Scott are busy parents of three boys. She has a B.S. degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston, where she graduated Cum Laude in 1992.  She worked full time with community associations as a legal assistant before and during law school, and obtained her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center in 1998.  Since then, she has almost exclusively represented community associations, condominium associations and commercial associations. She is a member of the Galveston County Bar Association and the Houston Bar Association, as well as the State Bar of Texas. She is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Texas, the U.S. Court of Appeals (Fifth Circuit) and the U.S. Supreme Court.  Her areas of practice include residential and commercial real estate, litigation, corporate law, bankruptcy and civil appellate work.  Mrs. Farine has been Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization for both Commercial and Residential Real Estate Law since 2005.  She was named a “Rising Star”, a Thompson Reuters service, published in Texas Monthly Magazine, in July 2004.  She is a member of the Greater Houston Chapter of Community Associations Institute (CAI) and regularly participates in educational speaking activities and workshops regarding community associations.  She has also served as a volunteer for the Texas Community Association Advocates.

Margaret R. Maddox

 

Margaret R.MaddoxMargaret Maddox graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a B.B.A. in Marketing and earned her law degree from University of Houston College of Law  in 1999, graduating Cum Laude. She is admitted to practice law before the Texas Supreme Court, the U. S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, and the Texas State Courts.  Mrs. Maddox focuses her legal practice on community association law, real estate litigation, property transactions, negotiating and drafting business contracts, newspaper representation, and First Amendment law.  Prior to coming to Daughtry & Jordan, P.C. she practiced in the areas of tax law and municipal utility district law.  Mrs. Maddox is a member of State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, Galveston County Bar Association, Community Association Institute, and the Texas Aggie Bar Association.  She volunteers for the Freedom of Information Foundation of Texas, the Houston Bar Association’s reading in schools program, and the Special Olympics. Margaret was also a selected as one of Houston’s “Top Lawyers” as presented in H Texas Magazine from 2013 to present.   Margaret and her husband, Roger, are the proud parents of triplets and also have a son in the Air Force.  In her spare time, Margaret enjoys playing the cello, history, and architecture.

Chris Archambault

 

Chris ArchambaultChris Archambault has been licensed to practice law in Texas since 2012 and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas. Chris graduated with a B.S. degree in Economics from Texas A&M University in 2008.  He then attended South Texas College of Law, graduating in 2012.  While in law school he was selected to compete at the Paris International Chamber of Commerce in Paris, France as part of the school’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.  He was named a “Rising Star”, a Thompson Reuters service, published in Texas Monthly Magazine, for 2016 and 2017.  Chris also volunteers in numerous civic organizations which includes serving on the Houston Advisory Council for the Texas Community Association Advocates and also as Co-Chair for the Public Relations Committee for the Greater Houston Chapter of the Community Association’s Institute.   When Chris is not at work, he enjoys golfing and following his favorite football teams: The Dallas Cowboys and The Fightin’ Texas Aggies.
